The herb does not damage the hair, provides natural volume and shine. Indigo dyes hair in dark blue tones. For auburn hair color, with dark shades, mix indigo and henna mahogany in equal amounts. To achieve a black color, indigo powder is applied to hair already dyed with henna. It is not recommended to use chemical shampoos up to 2 days after painting, as they could affect the color. Method of use and dosage * For chestnut tones - mix equal parts henna and indigo. For short hair about 30-40g, for medium length hair about 50g, for long hair up to 100g powder. The henna is mixed with warm water to obtain a slurry. The indigo is mixed with lukewarm water. The two pastes are mixed together and after 10 minutes they are applied along the length of the hair. The hair is covered with a plastic hat and wrapped on top with a towel. It stays for about 2-4 hours. * For black tones - the hair is pre-dyed with henna. The indigo is mixed with lukewarm water. After 10 minutes it is ready for application. The hair is covered with a plastic cap, wrapped in a towel, and left for about 1.5-2 hours. Origin: India
